Inspired Endings is honored to be facilitating a three day End-of-Life Doula Training for Hawaii Care Choices on the Big Island. This unique 3 day training accompanies the rich volunteer training that provides volunteers with an excellent foundation for becoming a patient volunteer. This End-of-Life Doula Training offers an in-depth learning experience for the volunteer who seeks to understand more about the complexities and beauty of death and dying, and desires to learn more non-medical skills to support the hospice patient and family. Hospice volunteer doulas are an integral part of the hospice care team and have the opportunity to be on care teams with community doulas, other private community caregivers, alternative health practitioners, family, and friends.
